A painter boards a train and puts his paintings in the windows so that they look like passengers.

"A Woman’s Fate” is about the story of three women who are stuck to social patterns that prevent them from being happy. Stella, after fifty years of marriage, notices she has given up on dreams to be the woman behind a “great man” and for motherhood. In an act of courage, she decides to get a divorce. Her daughter Lívia is a famous psychologist that, to try to make her jealous and manipulative husband happy, gives up on great opportunities. Cléo is a survivor who struggles against adversities imposed by her social life and does everything to maintain her mother’s happiness. Searching for their freedom, their dilemmas and relationships cross paths throughout the story, making each one of them reinvent themselves and discover their overcoming skills, learning that it is never too late to have control over their own lives.

We follow a painter, a successful artist living alone and isolated. Driven only by his work, he finds himself lost when he’s forced to deal with his unannoced son and other outsiders that stand in the way of his work and get him out of balance.

This film is about the painter Sveinn Björnsson (1925-1997), and his struggles to perfect his art. Following a wide-ranging exhibition at the Kjarvalsstaðir Art Gallery in 1989, he has become tired of the fantasy style which he had been developing for thirty years. What needed to happen in order for him to create something new? What sacrifices would it involve? This film is about that struggle experienced by creative artists. The film is not a biography, or a learned review of the painter's style, but it does show a side of the man which very few see. One evening, he feels he is not alone in his studio; it feels as if some being is there who wants to help him.

Every fifteen days, Antoine, five, spends the weekend at his father's house. Time is counted, limited, condensed. For them, two days to do, to do again, to learn, to understand one another and to each other is little ... The father opens his son the initiatory territory of the forest where to kill is not playing. But on the return of the hunt, the father and son are equally disarmed: Antoine refuses to learn to read, and his father knows that this unknown forest of life is even more dangerous if one loses oneself.
